Reynolds and Reynolds DMS Forms

(Showing 23 of 23)

Most of what is here exists to do one thing: replace expensive pre printed forms from your DMS provider with laser stock that costs a fraction as much and prints the same result. If you are buying forms through Reynolds at Reynolds prices, this page is worth ten minutes.

Check compatibility before you order, and the test is simple: compare the form in your drawer to the product image. These are built to match standard ERA output, so if yours looks like the one on screen it will align. If you are not certain, order a small quantity and run a test print rather than committing to a full order. The other thing to settle first is how much your system prints. If it outputs the entire form including the lines, you want blank 90# index stock, which is heavy enough to survive a shop where copier paper is not. If it prints data into a layout, you want the laser forms. If it prints nothing, you want pre printed.

Within the laser range, check orientation on repair orders, since portrait and landscape are not interchangeable. On statements, Open Items suits wholesale and body shop accounts paying invoice by invoice while Balance Forward suits house accounts, and many dealerships need both. The service invoice with coupons is worth a look: every invoice handed over becomes a reason to return, at the moment the customer is thinking about their vehicle. Every laser form here can be imprinted with your name and logo, priced per sheet rather than per pack, so compare on total quantity.

How to Check Compatibility Before Ordering

Compare your current form to the product image. That is genuinely the test. These forms are built to match standard ERA output, so if the form in your drawer looks like the one on screen, it will align with your system.

If you are not certain, order a small quantity and run a test print before committing to a full order. We would rather you did that than take delivery of stock that does not line up.

Three Levels of Pre-Printing

Work out which one your system needs before choosing a product.

Fully pre-printed carries the form design already on the page. The Pre-Printed Repair Order on 90# buff index is 8-1/2in x 11in, 1-part, 100 per pack, and works with many work order systems.

Laser pre-printed carries the form layout, and your DMS prints the data into it. This covers most of the ERA-compatible forms below.

Blank stock is for systems that print the entire form, lines and all. 90# white index and 90# buff index, both 250 per pack. Heavy enough to survive a service department, unlike copier paper.

Repair Orders

Plain Laser Repair Orders (LZR-RO) are unprinted white 20# laser stock, a 1-part alternative to multi-part carbonless. Your software prints everything.

Landscape Laser Repair Orders (LZR-RO-LA) suit systems that output in landscape orientation. Check which way your current RO reads before ordering.

Both are available custom imprinted: LZR-RO and LZR-RO-LA, each carrying your name, logo and up to 4 lines of text.

Service Invoices

The Laser Service Invoice (LZR-SI-11) is the standard ERA-compatible invoice.

The version with coupons adds perforated coupons along the bottom, and it is the one worth thinking about. Every invoice you hand over becomes a reason to come back, and the customer is holding it at the moment they are most receptive. Imprinted versions are available without coupons and with.

Statements

Two types, and the choice depends on how your customers pay. Balance Forward with horizontal perf (LZR-STMT-BF) shows a running balance. Open Items with vertical perf (LZR-STMT-01) lists each unpaid invoice until it clears.

Wholesale and body shop accounts usually pay invoice by invoice, which makes Open Items the right format. House charge accounts usually pay against a balance. Imprinted versions are available in Balance Forward and Open Items.

Cash Receipts and Purchase Orders

The ERA System Cash Receipt (LZR-CR) and ERA System Purchase Order (LZR-PO) are single-purpose forms.

The LZR-CRPOFH with holes serves as either, so one stock covers both jobs. Holes or no holes is a filing question: pre-punched goes straight into a binder. Imprinted versions: cash receipt, purchase order, combined without holes and combined with holes.

Imprinting

Every laser form here is available with your dealership's name, logo and up to 4 lines of text. On a service invoice or statement that leaves the building, that is the difference between a document that looks like yours and one that looks like blank paper with data on it.

Note that imprinted forms are priced per sheet while plain stock is priced per pack, so compare on the total for your quantity rather than the figures side by side. Call us with your monthly volume and we will price both.

FAQ

How do we know these will align with our system?

Compare your current form to the product image. If it looks the same, it will align. These are built to standard ERA output. If you are unsure, order a small quantity and test print before committing to a full order.

Why are these cheaper than forms from our DMS provider?

Because they are laser stock rather than multi-part pre-printed forms. Most of the products here are described as economical alternatives that may replace the pre-printed version. The output is the same; the stock costs less.

Plain laser, pre-printed, or blank stock?

Depends how much your system prints. If it outputs the whole form including lines, use blank 90# stock. If it prints data into a layout, use the laser forms. If it prints nothing, use pre-printed. Look at what comes out of your printer now.

Are the coupons on the service invoice worth it?

Usually. The coupon version costs modestly more per pack and puts an offer in the customer's hand at the moment they are thinking about their vehicle. Compare that against what a mailer costs to achieve the same thing.

Balance Forward or Open Items statement?

How your customers pay. Open Items lists each unpaid invoice, which suits wholesale and body shop accounts paying invoice by invoice. Balance Forward shows a running total, which suits house accounts. Many dealerships need both.

Why does blank stock cost more than a ream of copier paper?

Because it is 90# index rather than 20# bond. A repair order goes into a shop, gets handled with dirty hands, clipped to a rack and filed for years. Copier paper does not survive that, and a torn RO is a dispute waiting to happen.
