Service Appointment Pads and Record Books
Whatever your DMS does, the service drive still runs on something an advisor can write on while holding a phone. These are the pads and books that carry the day's bookings, the week's capacity, and the record of what was authorized.
Scheduling a Full Week
The service appointment form is a 6-part snap-out set covering a complete work week, one sheet per day Monday through Saturday, printed in blue and red. Because it is multi-part, each day's schedule can go to the people who need it without anyone copying it out: the drive, the shop, and the file all work from the same sheet.
Daily Record Books
Two coil-bound books at the same price, and the difference is what they record. The daily appointment record book is a straight appointment log: 50 sheets of heavyweight 90# stock with a From and To date record on the cover, so a finished book is identifiable on a shelf without opening it.
The daily service record book logs appointments and also carries authorization for additional repairs, keeping both in one bound record. Choose this one if your advisors regularly call customers for approval on work found after check-in, since it keeps the booking and the approval on the same page rather than in two places.
Planning the Week Ahead
The weekly service appointment and installation schedule is a large-format 22in x 17in planning pad covering service appointments and accessory or part installations together. The size is the point: it goes on a wall or a desk where the whole team sees the week at once, which is how you spot an over-booked Thursday before it happens rather than during it.
Why Paper Alongside a DMS
A bound book gives a sequential, tamper-evident record that does not depend on anyone's login, and a large planning pad shows the week at a glance in a way a screen at the desk does not. Most departments run both: the system holds the data, the pad runs the drive.
