Custom Oil Change Stickers

A branded reminder sticker is the cheapest retention tool in the service drive. It sits in the customer's eyeline every day with your name, your number, and the date they should come back. These are the write-in versions: printed with your branding, with a blank area the technician completes at the bay. No printer, no software, no setup.

Sheet or Roll

This is the main choice, and it is what drives the price difference. Sheet format comes as labels on a backing sheet that a technician peels by hand, at the lowest cost per sticker: static cling sheets and light adhesive sheets, boxed in 1000s.

Roll format dispenses one at a time, which is faster and tidier in a working bay where a sheet gets creased, oily, or lost. Available as static cling rolls and light adhesive rolls. Rolls cost more per label; sheets cost less but rely on someone keeping the sheet clean.

Static Cling or Light Adhesive

Static cling holds by static electricity, so it lifts off and reapplies with no residue on the glass. That matters on a customer's windshield and on vehicles returning for service, where each visit replaces the last label cleanly. Light adhesive grips harder through heat and car washes but leaves more behind on removal. Most dealerships run cling as standard.

Sizes

Roll labels come in 2-1/4in x 1-1/2in standard and 2-5/8in x 1-7/8in large. Sheet labels come in 2-1/2in x 1-1/2in. Choose the larger size if your logo needs room or if your technicians write in larger figures; the smaller sizes sit more discreetly in the corner of the glass.

Printed Rather Than Written

If you would rather the date and mileage were printed than handwritten, two systems do that. For Autosoft DMS dealerships, white back and clear back LOF labels print full colour with data pulled straight from the system; see Autosoft LOF printers and supplies. For shops without a DMS connection, the GoDex RT-200i ProMinder calculates service dates and mileage on its own; see 5-in-1 oil change sticker printers and supplies.

FAQ

Sheet or roll format?

Sheets cost less per label and suit shops where the stickers are completed at a desk. Rolls dispense one at a time, which is faster and stays clean in a working bay. The extra cost per label buys convenience and fewer wasted stickers from creased or oily sheets.

Static cling or light adhesive?

Static cling removes and reapplies without residue, which customers prefer and which suits repeat service vehicles. Light adhesive holds better in heat and through car washes but leaves more on removal. Cling is the usual default for customer windshields.

Do I need a printer for these?

No. These arrive already printed with your dealership name, logo, and contact information, with a blank write-on area the technician fills in by hand. That is the point of the write-in format: no hardware, no consumables, no setup. If you want the date and mileage printed instead, see the printer systems.

What sizes are available?

Roll labels come in 2-1/4in x 1-1/2in and 2-5/8in x 1-7/8in. Sheet labels are 2-1/2in x 1-1/2in. Check the size against the corner of a windshield and against how large your technicians write; a label too small to read at a glance defeats the purpose.

Can I use my own artwork?

Yes. Labels are custom-printed with your logo, dealership name, address, and phone number. Supply high-resolution artwork for the cleanest result, particularly at these label sizes where small text and fine detail reproduce differently than they do at full size.

Write-in or printed, which is better?

Write-in costs less and needs no equipment, so it suits smaller shops and anyone who does not want another machine to maintain. Printed labels remove handwriting from the process entirely, which matters when legibility varies by technician and when a customer needs to read the date months later. Many dealerships start with write-in and move to a printer system as volume grows.
