The Printers

The ProMinder Standard ships ready to use within 48 hours with 31 service programs already loaded, covering oil changes, battery, brake, and other intervals. The ProMinder Custom costs less and accepts any label configuration you specify, so it suits shops that want their own program set rather than the standard one. Operating the Printer

The ProMinder is driven by a USB keyboard, and the shop floor is hard on keyboards. Choose the water-resistant rigid keyboard for a fixed counter position, or the rollable waterproof keyboard, which is fully sealed and rolls up so it can be stowed out of the way between jobs. Both protect against the oil, coolant, and water a service bay produces.

Labels

Blank stock is the lower-cost route: the printer can be programmed to print your dealership name and phone directly onto blank white labels or blank clear labels, so you get branding without a custom print order. Return for Service labels are pre-printed stock with a car image in blue or red.

For full-colour branded labels, custom-printed media carries your name, logo, and contact information already on the stock, in static cling or light adhesive.

Static Cling or Light Adhesive

Static cling holds by static electricity, so it lifts off and reapplies with no residue on the glass. Customers prefer it and it suits vehicles that come back regularly, since each visit replaces the last label cleanly. Light adhesive grips harder through heat and car washes but leaves more behind on removal. Most shops run cling as standard and keep adhesive for harder conditions.

Ribbons

The ProMinder is a thermal transfer printer, so it prints through a ribbon rather than directly onto the label. Keep black wax resin ProMinder ribbons on hand and change them when print quality starts to fade, rather than waiting for a failure mid-shift.
