1-Part Buyers Guides

A 1-part Buyers Guide is display only: one self-adhesive form that seals to the window and stays there until the vehicle sells. No carbon copies, no file copy. It suits dealerships whose DMS already generates and stores the disclosure record, or who file a separate signed copy, and it is the cleanest-looking option on the glass.

Interior or Exterior

This is the main decision, and the main price difference. Interior guides seal to the inside of the glass on all four sides, protected from weather and washing, and cost roughly a third of the exterior version. Choose from interior AS-IS, interior implied warranty, and their no-lines versions: AS-IS no lines and implied warranty no lines.

Exterior guides apply to the outside of the glass with permanent adhesive on all four sides, on weather-resistant stock. They cost more, and they are the right choice when heavy window tint would obscure an interior form or when interior application is impractical. See the exterior AS-IS no lines and exterior implied warranty versions.

Lines or No Lines

Order a lined version if staff complete the form by hand. Order no lines if your DMS or laser printer generates the form, since the open field accepts printer output without colliding with pre-printed rules. The implied warranty no lines version does the same for warranty vehicles.

Backer Only

Backer only stock is blank adhesive with no pre-printed Buyers Guide content at all. Your dealership laser-prints the complete form, including all required FTC Used Car Rule text, from your own system. This suits dealerships already generating full guides digitally who need only the adhesive substrate. Available as interior backer only, exterior backer only, and in Spanish as interior and exterior. Because the form is printed by you rather than pre-printed, responsibility for including the complete required text sits with your dealership.

Spanish

Spanish-language versions are stocked across the range: interior AS-IS no lines, AS-IS, implied warranty, and implied warranty no lines, plus exterior AS-IS, AS-IS no lines, and implied warranty. See all Spanish buyers guides.

Other Formats

If you need a file copy as well as the window display, see 2-part buyers guides. For display from the rearview mirror, see hanging buyers guides. Browse all AS IS buyers guides and forms.

FAQ

What does 1-part mean?

A single self-adhesive form with no carbon copies. It goes on the window and stays with the vehicle; there is no paper file copy. Use it when your DMS records the disclosure or when you file a separate signed document. If you want a file copy from the same completion, order a 2-part buyers guide instead.

Interior or exterior, which should I order?

Interior in most cases. Sealing to the inside of the glass protects the form from weather, washing, and tampering, and interior stock costs substantially less. Choose exterior when heavy window tint would make an interior form hard to read from outside, or when interior application is not practical on a particular vehicle.

Why do exterior guides cost more?

Exterior stock is weather-resistant and uses permanent adhesive on all four sides, because it has to survive sun, rain, and lot washing on the outside of the glass. Interior forms sit in a protected environment and use lighter stock. If your inventory does not require exterior application, interior guides do the same job for less.

What is a backer only guide?

Backer only stock is blank adhesive with no printed Buyers Guide content. Your dealership prints the entire form from your own system, including all text required by the FTC Used Car Rule. It suits dealerships whose DMS already outputs a complete guide. Note that because you are printing the form rather than buying it pre-printed, ensuring the output includes all required content is your responsibility.

Which version works with our DMS?

Order a no-lines version if your system prints onto the form, so output lands cleanly in the open field. Order a lined version if staff write the details in. If your system prints the complete guide including the FTC text, backer only stock is the lowest-cost route.

Do you stock Spanish-language guides?

Yes, across interior and exterior, AS-IS and implied warranty, lined and no lines. See the interior Spanish AS-IS or the full Spanish buyers guides range. The FTC rule addresses Spanish-language disclosure where the sale is conducted in Spanish, so confirm the current requirement for your situation.
