Almost everything in this category is model specific. A tray that fits an MS823dn will not fit an MS631dw, and at these prices ordering from a photograph is a real risk. Find the exact model number on the printer itself before ordering any printer tray or drawer here.

Capacity options run from 250 sheets to 2,100, but the big tray carries two conditions that catch people out. The 2100 sheet tray takes plain paper only, so it cannot be your route to running labels or card stock at volume, and it requires the caster base for stability, which roughly doubles the spend. Budget both together. A second tray is worth having anyway for media separation: keeping letterhead or multi part forms loaded permanently is where most misprints get designed out.

On fuser kits, check three things: model coverage, voltage, and what is actually in the box. Two kits rated at the same 200,000 pages can contain different parts, with one including a separator roll assembly the other omits. Replace at the rated page count as planned maintenance rather than waiting for failure, because a fuser going out on a service drive printer mid morning costs far more than the kit. And for a machine in constant use, an adjustable stand sets working height across ten positions and lifts paper clear of a wet floor.

Printer Accessories

Almost everything in this category is model-specific. A tray that fits an MS823dn will not fit an MS631dw, and the trays look similar enough that ordering from a photograph is a genuine risk at these prices. Find your printer's exact model number before ordering anything here.

Paper Trays by Printer

For the MS821dn, MS823dn and MS825dn, the high-volume monochrome range: a 250-sheet tray, a 550-sheet tray, or the 2100-sheet tray for maximum capacity.

For the MS531dw and MS631dw: the 550-sheet tray 38S3110.

For the 431 series: the 550-sheet tray 29S0600, supporting A4, A5, Executive, Folio, JIS B5, Letter, Legal, Oficio and Statement, with paper from 16 to 32 lb.

For the CX532adwe colour multifunction: a 550-sheet tray, or the 650-sheet duo tray, which combines a 550-sheet tray with a 100-sheet multipurpose feeder in one unit.

For the CS431dw colour printer: the 250-sheet tray 40N4250.

The 250-sheet tray 36S2910 covers a further range of models and handles transparencies and labels alongside plain paper.

Before You Order the 2100-Sheet Tray

Two conditions come with it, and both catch people out.

It supports plain paper only, so it cannot be your route to running labels or card stock at volume. And it requires the caster base, which provides the stability a tall stacked configuration needs. Budget for both together: the tray alone will leave you with a configuration you should not run.

The caster base is also worth considering on any MS821dn, MS823dn or MS825dn carrying additional input trays, whether or not the 2100-sheet unit is involved.

Getting the Printer Off the Floor

Two adjustable stands, both with 10 shelf slots for setting height. The 35S8502 adjusts from 5in to 23in, and the 40C2300 works over a comparable range. They are priced the same, so the question is which fits your printer. Tell us the model and we will confirm which one to order.

Worth doing for a machine used all day: a printer at floor level means staff bending for every job, and a stand also keeps paper away from a wet or dusty floor.

Fuser Maintenance Kits

The fuser is a wear part with a defined page life, and replacing it is planned maintenance rather than a repair. Check both the model coverage and the voltage before ordering.

  • 41X2096, 110-120V, 125,000 pages, Return Program, includes fuser and pick tire
  • 41X1225, 110V, 200,000 pages, includes fuser, MPF pick roller, separator pad, pick tires, separator roll assembly and transfer roll
  • 41X1228, 110V, 200,000 pages, includes fuser, MPF pick roller, separator pad, pick tire and transfer roll
  • 41X2233, 115V, 225,000 pages, Return Program, for MS821dn, MS823dn and MS825dn

For Okidata, the 200k 120V kit covers the B721 plus the MB760 and MB770 series and MPS5501b and MPS5502mb.

Kit contents differ between part numbers even at the same rated yield, so compare what is included rather than price alone.

Labels and Cables

Zebra Z-Perform 2000D barcode labels are coated direct thermal stock rated to 8in per second with an all-temperature permanent acrylic adhesive, suited to dealer flag sheets and asset marking. The 10ft USB device cable is the standard USB-A to USB-B connection most label printers use, at a length that reaches from a counter to a workstation.

FAQ

Will this tray fit our printer?

Only if it is listed for that model. Trays of the same capacity are not interchangeable between printer families: the 550-sheet 50G0802 is for the MS821dn, MS823dn and MS825dn, while the 550-sheet 38S3110 is for the MS531dw and MS631dw. Read the model number off the printer itself rather than from memory.

Is the 2100-sheet tray all we need to order?

No. The 2100-sheet tray requires the caster base for stability, so the two go together and the combined cost is roughly double the tray alone. It also takes plain paper only, so keep another input available for labels or card stock.

How do we choose a fuser kit?

Three things: your printer model, the voltage, and what the kit contains. The 41X1225 includes a separator roll assembly that the 41X1228 does not, despite both being rated at 200,000 pages. Confirm the part number against your machine before ordering.

When should the fuser be replaced?

At its rated page count, as planned maintenance, rather than waiting for a failure. A fuser going out on a service drive printer in the middle of a busy morning costs far more in disruption than the kit does. Track the page counter and order ahead of the threshold.

Do we need a printer stand?

Worth it for any printer in constant use. A stand sets working height across ten positions from 5in to 23in, saves staff bending for every job, and lifts paper clear of a wet or dusty floor. Less relevant for a back office machine used a few times a day.

Why add a tray instead of just refilling more often?

Two reasons. Capacity, so a busy printer runs a full day without interruption. And media separation: a second tray lets you keep letterhead, multi-part forms or labels loaded permanently rather than swapping paper every time a different job comes through, which is where most misprints originate.
